I will provide some facts and figures that will open your eyes and know your most prefered Job Portal:-

• 28.5 million registered job seekers on Naukri.com
• 25 million registered job seekers on Monster
• Millions of new resumes are uploaded everyday on these portals
• For the keyword "HR Executive" for "Delhi/NCR" location, we get 3289 profiles who are active in last 30 days on Naukri.com
• For the  keyword "Java J2ee" for "Bangalore" location having between 1 - 3 years of experience, we get  7338 profiles who are active in last 30 days on Naukri.com.

The above facts & figures have been provided in order to make you aware of the scale of competition you are facing on such platforms and the fight is to make your Resume visible to the recruiters among this hoard of resumes. 

It is true that you have the requisite skill and experience for a given job opportunity but what can you do about such competition. Let us first discuss the result of such competition taking the example of the above figures. We all love figures and lets play with the figures and know your stand.

• There are suppose two different job seekers who have experience as HR Executive in Delhi/NCR location. Let us give them some names Ravi & Sumeet
